AstraVelo provides product warranty in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, the requirements of the European Union, and the warranty conditions set by manufacturers. The warranty confirms that the product complies with its intended purpose and is free from manufacturing defects.
1. Warranty period
- Bicycles: manufacturer-defined warranty period (usually 2–5 years or longer for frames, 2 years for components).
- Merida, KTM, TREK, and Superior bicycle frames are covered by an extended warranty ranging from 3 years up to a lifetime warranty. For more details about special warranty offers, please contact AstraVelo.
- E-bikes: frame and mechanical parts – according to the manufacturer’s warranty; battery usually 2 years.
- Accessories and spare parts: 24 months for private individuals, unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
- Service work: warranty on completed work according to the type of service performed.
2. Warranty coverage
The warranty applies to:
- manufacturing and material defects;
- defects arising during normal use;
- component failures, provided they are not caused by mechanical damage or improper use.
3. Warranty does not apply to
- natural wear and tear of parts (tyres, brake pads, chain, sprockets, bearings, etc.);
- damage caused by falls, accidents, improper storage, or transportation;
- damage resulting from improper maintenance or unauthorised repairs;
- use of the bicycle for purposes other than intended (for example, racing if the model is not designed for it);
- structural modifications or replacement of parts with incompatible components.
4. Warranty conditions
- The warranty is valid upon presentation of proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
- The bicycle must be used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Regular maintenance at AstraVelo or an authorised service centre may be a prerequisite for maintaining the warranty.
5. Warranty claim procedure
If you discover a defect, please contact AstraVelo and deliver the product to an AstraVelo store or to one of our service partners. In the event of a warranty claim, the product will be:
- repaired;
- replaced with an equivalent product;
- or refunded in accordance with applicable regulations.

- Submission and diagnostics of warranty cases
- Warranty repair after approval of the warranty case

- Bicycle assembly if the bicycle was purchased in the manufacturer’s packaging
- Bicycle parts replacement and other repair work
- Submission and diagnostics of warranty cases, as well as repair of approved warranty cases, are free of charge
- Other services are provided by service partners according to their own price lists
9. Warranty claim processing time
Warranty claims are processed within the time limits specified by applicable regulations. In certain cases, the product may be sent to the manufacturer or distributor for additional evaluation.
10. Consumer rights
