Online purchase terms and conditions

Placing an order / purchase

The Customer selects products on the website  www.astravelo.com and enters the information required to complete the purchase and delivery (first and last name, phone number, e-mail address, and delivery address). The Buyer confirms that the provided information is true and accurate. AstraVelo shall not be liable for delivery delays or the performance of the transaction / contract if the information provided by the Buyer is inaccurate or false. A purchase shall be deemed completed at the moment when all of the following conditions are met:

• a shopping cart has been selected on the website;
• the required minimum information has been entered on the website – first and last name, phone number, e-mail address, delivery method, and address;
• payment for the shopping cart has been completed using one of the available payment methods.

AstraVelo immediately sends an order confirmation to the Buyer’s specified e-mail address.

AstraVelo has the right to unilaterally withdraw from the transaction without prior notice if the information provided by the Buyer is false or inaccurate and delivery of the goods is not possible. AstraVelo is obliged to refund the Buyer the paid funds no later than within 5 (five) business days by transferring them to the Buyer’s IBAN account at a credit institution within the EU.

All communication between the Parties shall be conducted via the e-mail addresses and/or phone numbers specified on the online store website.

In cases where it is necessary to ensure the recording of information on a durable medium, the Parties shall use e-mail.

The Buyer confirms that they are of legal age and entitled to enter into a Purchase Agreement.

Product warranty

The Buyer has the right to submit claims regarding product quality within 2 (two) years from the date of purchase. If the product has been used in accordance with the rules, AstraVelo shall provide repair or replacement with an equivalent product, and if this is not possible, AstraVelo shall refund the Buyer the paid amount.

The product warranty does not include compensation for transportation, maintenance, or other services / costs.

If the Customer has not purchased the additional service “Bicycle assembly and preparation for use”, AstraVelo has the right to deliver the bicycle in the manufacturer’s packaging (box). The Customer assumes full responsibility for preparing the bicycle for use.

If the Customer has purchased the service “Bicycle assembly and preparation for use”, AstraVelo shall assemble, inspect, and pack the bicycle in special packaging; however, delivery will take an additional 2 business days. 

Withdrawal from the purchase agreement and product returns

The Buyer has the right to return unused and originally packaged goods free of charge within 30 (thirty) days from the date of purchase. Using the return label included with the purchase, the Buyer sends the goods by courier or personally delivers them to the AstraVelo store in Riga, Gunāra Astras Street 3.

If the goods do not meet the conditions of unused goods or the packaging is damaged, AstraVelo has the right to request compensation from the Buyer for the loss in value of the goods.

AstraVelo shall ensure a refund within 5 (five) business days after receiving the returned goods.

Security and personal data

AstraVelo complies with national legislation and EU regulations, including the Law on the Processing of Personal Data of natural persons.

Purchase history or shopping cart data is confidential information, and AstraVelo is not entitled to disclose it to third parties.

Registered personal / buyer data includes purchase information, first name, last name, address, phone number, and other data provided by the Buyer when concluding the purchase agreement. The personal data processor is SIA Veloprofs.lv, registration No. 40003916069.

The Buyer confirms consent to the processing of personal data to ensure the fulfillment of the contract terms and for other purposes for which the Buyer has given specific consent.

The AstraVelo website is secured with an SSL certificate, ensuring secure communication between AstraVelo and the Buyer.

Payment processing is provided by the e-commerce payment module of AS SEB Bank. AstraVelo does not have access to the Buyer’s payment initiation / confirmation tools.

The Buyer has the right to modify, delete, or correct the provided data, as well as to prohibit the use of their data or request data deletion.

Disputes and disagreements

The Parties shall attempt to resolve disputes and disagreements through mutual negotiations whenever possible; if this is not possible, disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.

The mutual rights and obligations of AstraVelo and the Buyer are determined by the terms published on the website and the applicable legislation.
